Videos play inside the app
How in-app video works and what watch tracking means.
- Watch course videos without leaving the app or losing your place
- Honest watch-through signal for you and your mentor
- External links preview safely before you open them
In-app video
Video resources play inside miatz — you don't need to leave the app. As you watch, your progress is tracked, so you (and your mentor) can see whether you watched a video through. External (non-video) links show a quick preview card; opening one launches it in a new tab.
Your watch-through totals appear on My Activity. This is about honest signal — knowing you invested the time — not surveillance; it uses the same always-on tracking as your time-on-platform.
Frequently asked
Do videos open in another tab?
No — video resources play inside miatz. External (non-video) links show a quick preview card and open in a new tab when you choose.
What does watch tracking record?
Whether you watched a video through. Your watch-through totals appear on My Activity, using the same always-on tracking as your time-on-platform.
Is this surveillance?
No — it's honest signal that you invested the time, visible to you and your mentor. It tracks watch-through, not what's on your screen.
